Community Coach Bursaries and Sports Grants

Broadland DC has recently re-launched grants that are open to those that live or go to school within Broadland or South Norfolk.  There are no age limits for either fund.

The Community Coach Development Bursary aims at assisting to upskill coaches and volunteers within their chosen sport. For more information, go to Community Coach Development Bursary – Broadland and South Norfolk (southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk)

EXPERIENCE Project

Norfolk Council Council’s EXPERIENCE Project is creating a new free Art Trail across Norfolk and will be commissioning artists to create one placemaking outdoor art installation within each district across Norfolk.

The project has put together a survey to gather feedback from local residents to support the development of artist briefs for the art trail. There are two versions of the survey – one version aimed at adults and the other at young people.

His Royal Highness, Prince Philip

With much sadness, His Royal Highness Prince Philip passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.  Our thoughts are with Her majesty The Queen and the Royal Family.

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the A1067 Fakenham Road from its junction with Weston Hall Road to its junction with St Faiths Close in the PARISH OF GREAT WITCHINGHAM because of carriageway resurfacing works.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 19:00 and 06:00 hours from 16th April 2021 to 19th April 2021 and from 23rd April 2021 to 26th April 2021 for the duration of the works, expected to be 6 nights within the period.

Safer Neighbourhood Team’s local priorities for your area

The Safer Neighbourhood Team held a virtual public meeting to discuss the setting of local priorities for Reepham and surrounding areas and they were agreed as:

  • Speeding and Road Safety
  • Scam/Fraud Awareness to include cold callers
